Brian C. Russell is a multidisciplinary artist who works primarily with photography and audio-based art involving guitar. His approach to photography includes a focus on composition, light, and structure, drawing from a background in sculpture, graphic design, and writing.

He works full-time in communications and spends the rest of his time raising a teenage son, caring for two dogs, helping care for four horses, and studying English riding.


Background

Brian holds a BFA in Sculpture and Painting and has worked in design and communications for many years. His experience spans both visual and written mediums, informing his approach to photography, painting, and the ways we inhabit space.

He is currently developing independent workshops in art and photography for those looking to deepen their creative practice — whether they are just starting out or seeking to energize their work.
